Special Protection Area Middle Reservoir of the Nove Mlyny Reservoirs (Střední nádrž vodního díla Nové Mlýny) is situated in the southern Moravia on the junction of the rivers Thaya (Dyje), Svratka and Jihlava.

In the area is protected five bird species - the greater white-fronted goose (Anser albifrons), the bean goose (Anser fabalis), the greylag goose (Anser anser), the white-tailed eagle (Haliaeetus albicilla) and the common tern (Sterna hirundo).
